I began burning on wood at the beginning of the pandemic. I found myself without a job but with a stack of wood cookies from wedding decorations and a beginner's wood burner. My work is all done by hand, not burned with a computer-generated design with a laser. I offer many different products for the kitchen, home decor and serving. I love to do custom work for weddings, anniversaries or special occasions. I love images of nature; flowers, trees, mushrooms, birds and butterflies. My strength is my communication with my customers. I'll always invite shoppers into my booth and talk freely about the products I make, working in historical facts or information about the particular variety of wood of one of my pieces. I am happy to have found a passion where I have grown and touched so many peoples' lives. I have lived many years near the pine barrens of south Jersey, so am very familiar with the controlled burns that take place on a regular basis. My son, who is an arborist, created the the design of my logo. The tree of life is a recurring design in my work so the logo is spot on for my work.
