Copper Coyota is the name of my company which reflects the foundation of my jewelry, and my heritage. I am a local New Mexican, born and raised in the Santa Fe area. My handmade craft is recycled copper wire wrap jewelry. I buy and repurpose electrical copper wire, strip and clean the wire which I then craft into unique handmade wire wrap jewelry. I have taught myself the art of wire wrap and incorporate my knowledge of metal properties including the natural healing properties of the copper mineral. It is also of personal importance for me to re-purpose good quality products and prevent more materials from landing up in the landfill.
