The Corning Chamber of Commerce host the Corning Olive Festival and Corning Car Show during the first Saturday of every Saturday in October. The Olive Festival originally established in 1946 is America's oldest running olive festival. And it has never been cancelled. This event started by promoting the olive harvest and the farmers in Corning and promoting the Queen Olive which we are greatly known for.
The festival spans over two huge parks. The Corning Community Park is lined up with food vendors, crafters, and sellers of all collections. Nearby is the Kids Zone and the Corning Skate Park as well as the recently installed playgrounds. Connected by a wooden walking bride is the Lennox Park which host the Corning Car Show. Car Show enthusiast and collectors come from all around to park on the grass, listen to the live music and enjoy the festivities within walking distance.
There is no cost to attend this event. This is a rain or shine event.
