Our goal at this event is to share some wonderful handmade imported products for sale at a special price (15%-40%off our online retail) while at the same time supporting the local artists and the economy in Guatemala where we live.  The difference between us and other import businesses is that all of the money made from the sale of our products will stay in Guatemala and be used to grow our business there which results in more income for the local artists we purchase from and job opportunities for local women.   The cost of the ticket is to cover the cost of renting the hall and will include free samples of Guatemalan coffee, hot chocolate for drinking, and hand rolled chocolates. One raffle coupon is also included with the ticket price and you can win one of 3 prizes: 1) a handbag ($138 value) 2) leather wallet/clutch ($57 value) 3) 1lb bag of coffee and 1lb bag of hot chocolate ($20 value). In addition, the first 35 people to register will receive a free imported Guatemalan gift upon arrival! There will be a cash bar available and we will have some light snacks that go with the Guatemala theme.
