Jake Daren's passion for creating started as a child, and has continually evolved throughout her life. Influenced by the beauty of the world around her, no two pieces are ever identical. Jake greatly values individuality and enjoys helping her customers express themselves with her wearable art. Craving Color does not maintain a 'bricks and mortar' storefront, choosing instead to take part in events like the Edmonton International Fringe Festival, The Works Art & Design Festival, The Edmonton International Street Performers Festival, Western Canada Fashion Week as well as juried and open art/craft markets throughout Alberta & BC. Of special note are Jake's participation in the "Flowers for Nitanis (my daughter)" awareness event funded by Justice Canada and Craving Color's exhibition in the Western Canadian Jewellery Expo. Edmonton area born and raised, jake is loyal to the local economy. "Don't follow the flock...lead it! Your life craves color...feed it!"
