As a 100% permanently disabled veteran who suffers with mental and physical health issues which prevent me from even enjoying nice days in my yard or shopping, I had to quickly find something to counter those severe issues. I took the one blessing the good Lord gave me (creativity) and put it to good use. I started doing custom arts and crafts (all free hand no machine assistance) with glass, then wood, and on occasion even refurbish vintage and antique furniture. I started the arts and crafts for my well being but started getting a lot of people requesting customer and personalized pieces for their own enjoyment or to give as gifts. Since that was not the main purpose of me starting this I decided if I was going to make money doing it I would dedicate a percentage of every sale to help other veterans who suffer like I do, and once a month I take a percentage of all profits to one of several different veteran organizations to at least do what I can to help those in need in my community since there is very little veteran assistance in our small towns. I still profit with my well being and I also feel a lot better each time I donate to other veterans each month. I put my heart and soul into every single piece and each one is filled with love and care, and I know it is a good thing when someone walks out the door with an item I made with my own two hands and they are smiling with the anticipation of where in their home they will display it or who they plan to gift it to. So thank you ahead of time for helping me by placing your orders and helping me to help others with a smile whether it be for the donations or from the beautiful gift they received that came from my shop.
