Working as an educator, administrator, and university professor for over forty years, I have spent most of my life helping children learn to read and enjoy books. As a principal and school district administrator I was able to plan and design programs for children. As a university professor, I helped prepare future teachers and principals for their careers.
Married and residing in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, I am an active member of my church and a local community organization. Putman Publishing Company has promoted the sale of my children's books about our sweet pomeranian. Children are delighted when we bring the dog for personal appearances. I have presented to over 2,500 children.
Another avocation of mine is genealogy research. I also do presentations on how to conduct basic/medium level research and how to join lineage societies, My workshops are well-attended and I have helped many people find answers to their family history questions.
