I started designing shoes thanks to a company blinged out shoe contest. I enjoyed doing it and had so many requests from others to make theirs that it turned into a much bigger thing than just a one time contest. My husband even created a few designs and we worked side by side on shoes for a while. Now I am doing this on my own while he is off fishing since that is his passion. I have fun making a glitter mess of pretty much everything and everyone I come in contact with. I paint the shoes the overall color scheme they will be then I use rhinestones, glitter, feathers... whatever idea pops in my mind or the customer asks for and I create unique designs on the shoes. I seal everything so there is no shedding from the shoes as you are wearing them. My favorite designs are the funky ideas that pop in my head but I also enjoy working with brides to create their perfect pair of shoes for that amazing day in their life. It is even more fun when I get to do the whole bridal party. My favorite pair so far is the homecoming shoes when I was provided the scrap material from the dress fitting and I was able to incorporate that into the shoe design. I hope you enjoy the designs.
