I started Dancing Leaf Studios in the fall of 2010 after spending nearly twenty years running businesses for other people.  I have been crafting and making things since I was old enough to glue things together.  My passion for designing jewelry began fifteen years ago when I picked up a book on creating jewelry from wire.  A quick trip to the hardware store, a few nails in a board to create my first jig and I was hopelessly gone.  It didn't take long to go from wire to maille weaving.  I've done beadwork, stringing and several other techniques over the years, most of which I still put to use, but nothing gets my heart beating like the prospect of a new chainmaille piece!
