Dan Jarvey Designs
Started as graphics, mural and fine art painting in 1973 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Added some wood sculpting about 15 years ago. About 4 years ago I expanded to working with non ferrous metals. The pieces range in size from about 1 square inch to about 10 square inches.
I have a well tooled metalsmith studio set up at the house. Which is now my primary interest.
After high school I took a job at a sign shop. Studied art at UNLV and Clark County Community College. Moved to California. Started My own sign shop and Studied mural painting under one of the local muralist. Moved back to Las Vegas for a few years. Work on several of the art projects for the new casinos that were being built. Moved to Washington in 1994. Where I've built monuments, painted murals, produced graphics, sculped reliefs in wood and foam and started working with ferrous and non ferrous metal, which is where I am to date.
There is a small local gallery that is carrying my products. My interest now is to start expanding my market.
