David Oakleaf & the Open Road, Nashville, TN
David Oakleaf started singing and playing guitar at the age of 11 in the local Opry House of Howard, Kansas. He’s been flat out layin’ it on the line ever since.
David, a former ranch hand and cowboy, first became famous with country fans in 2007 when he was shone on CMT’s “Can You Duet” TV program, earning a Top 5 finish. With industry doors opening, he moved to Nashville to pay some honky-tonk dues and hone his craft.
All that hard work is surely paying off! David Oakleaf and his band, The Open Road, is now regularly featured at the world famous Wildhorse Saloon in the heart of Music City. In addition to live performances at venues throughout Nashville, the South and the Midwest, Oakleaf and band have recently appeared on television’s A&E network. And they’ve shared the stage with acts such as Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Pat Green and John Michael Montgomery
This singer-songwriter is working on his third album – exciting new songs will be supported by a heavy touring and radio promotion schedule throughout the year. You’ll see a lot of this adrenaline stoked cowboy this year – his high-energy performances are crowd-pleasing fun!
