About 10 years ago I tried my hand at crafting homemade Soaps, I really enjoyed the process of adding different oils and scents to achieve something that could help different skin types. At that time it was more or less just a HOBBY. I made them for family and friends, however in the last two years I got hooked on making so many different kinds from natural to scented with fragrances to just the saponified glycerin soaps. They still all had a purpose, and then I found the craft shows which are just an awesome part of this process. The people that are crafters are so unique, we make things with our own hands that other people ooo and ahhh over! It just cant get better then that, well maybe, we might just make a couple of dollars doing what we love.
How I make my companies soaps start with Organic Olive, Organic Coconut and Organic Palm then depending on the recipe, I had Macadamia Nut Oil, Castor Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Apricot Kernal Oil, and at this point I add in the caustic soda or lye and finish it off with either Shea Butter or Cocoa Butter and Essential Oils, Fragrance Oils and or exfoliation herbs and clays. I use different oxides and spices for colorants.
On hand at this moment I have, Tea Tree with LemonGrass, Christmas (warm and spicy) Peppermint, Tootie Frootie, Jasmine, Gingerbread, 3 different types of Lavender and many more...please visit my website or facebook page to view on the fun combinations of soap. Thanks for reading and hope to see you soon.
