The DRCA, a non-profit organization, oversees the Del Rio Fire Department, Library and Meeting Hall. Two community festivals, Del Rio Days-Fall Color Festival, and the Christmas Crafts Bazaar, are sponsored by the DRCA. Del Rio Days has a full 2-day schedule of music performances, including, in 2011 & 2012, a songwriting competition, and in 2013 & 2014, a string band contest, with $2500 in awards.
