MEET DEMI MAYS: Having been singing since before she could walk, Demi Mays has always had a love for music in her heart. Born in Cincinnati, and raised in West Harrison, Indiana, Demi was highly influenced by her musician father, sang in choir for 6 years and was involved in many school plays. At 8 years old she landed the role as “Annie” in her county’s elementary production of Annie Jr. Her involvement in the production served as a great foundation for experience in the spotlight. Demi started singing children's music with Growing Sound in 2012 leading to the release of her first featured award-winning CD titled DANDELION! DANDELION is a collection of songs that celebrate the day to day joys in a young child's life and how they interact with the parents and caregivers that love and teach them as they grow. DANDELION is receiving radio airplay in many states and is featured on "The Wiggles Radio Show" on Sirius XM "KIDS PLAY LIVE". DANDELION is the winner of the FAMILY REVIEW CENTER GOLD AWARD, MOM'S CHOICE GOLD AWARD and a NAPPA HONORS AWARD (National Association of Parenting Publications). DEMI's concerts are filled with fun interactive songs along with other classics. DEMI's use of props including her fabulous hula hoop tricks bring extra excitement to her performances.
DEMI MAYS currently performs for preschools, childcare centers, libraries, community festivals, in-store events and other family friendly events.
