Detour 91 is a group of musicians between the ages of 14 and 16 who are passionate about Blues and Rock. They met in 2011 and for most of them, Blues was a genre they had never heard of before. But once they were introduced to the Blues they were captivated; and if you listen to them perform, they sound like they've been singing this soul stirring music for a long time. They have performed to cheering crowds in California and Chicago. They have opened for B. B. King and Leon Russell and have played at the House of Blues in California and Chicago and at Buddy Guys "Legends". They have received scholarships from Blue Foundation, Memphis.
