Solarspins started in Ventura County, California in 1992 as a three dimentional beveled glass creation in window art that was enhanced with Swarovski crystals, designed to gently spin (dance) in direct sunlight.
Upon moving to Columbus Ohio, the intensity of the sun wasn't strong enough to create the dancing solarspin so jewelry became the next creative challenge along with creating the crystal ceiling fan or light pulls.
Each original piece is a creative design incorporating Swarovski crystals (which is now silverbased instead of lead), semi-precious stones and various silver findings/finishes. The silver used is .925 Bali Silver and holds value via weight in the marketplace.
