I studed at the School of Associated Arts in St. Paul Minn. I currently live in Marion Iowa. My studio is located in my 100 year old home that I purchased on my return to Iowa. My home is next to the Granger House museum and I serve on the Marion Historical Society board.
My Art Work.
I tried to approach art in the time honored ways of landscapes, portraits, still lifes and so on. I found these forms of art to be uncreative and lacking in self expression.
So I decidedd to just let my mind go and found my voice in my art.
The result is hard to decribe.
My current work is in a unique style that is all my own.
Working mainly in ink/permanent markers on paper and canvas I have decovered an unusual approach to creativity that comes from deep with in me. .
My work has been described as Abstract or Modern but it is much more than just that.
