The East Grand Forks Arts and Crafts Council is a non profit organization whose purpose is to promote the fine arts and fine arts education in East Grand Forks Minnesota. For more than 50 years, the council has organized and run a craft fair "East Grand Forks Arts & Crafts Fair". The distribution of craft fair vendor fees and admission fees collected is one way in which we can support local artists and folk art in our area. We have sponsored art exhibits at our local library and brought in artists to teach or demonstrate their craft to school age children. Donating supplies to our school's art and music programs and providing scholarships to art and music camps as well as college scholarships to students majoring in the fine arts or fine arts education are other ways funds have been utilized. To date the Council has distributed over $490,000 to promote the fine arts and fine arts education in East Grand Forks.
