Elaine Rabideau

Loom beading is fairly new to me, but I have done lots of counted cross-stitch, tatting and other intricate hand work.  I have been creating on the loom for about three years and find it the most satisfying craft I have ever done (including being a potter).  I love the mathematical precision of the Native American bead designs and their use of color.  I hope my work pays respect and homage to the women and men of the past who created the beautiful designs I use. 

I also use some modern designs off the internet.  I make hat bands, guitar straps, belts and pieces for ornamentation on jean or leather jackets.  I hope you will enjoy seeing the pieces and feeling their beauty between your fingers.
