Author's Biography
Kelley A. Joyce is the author and publisher of a series of children's books featuring twins Amos & Ella. She is a married mother of two grown boys who are the inspiration for her creations. Before her storybook series, Kelley penned the original Amos the Elf and his Magical Pajamas. Its success inspired her to continue writing and to create Magical products associated with each of her stories.
Kelley's background is in early childhood education and she has over 25 years experience in childcare administration, consulting, and operations. She holds a master's degree in business administration (MBA) and a bachelor's degree in early childhood education (BS). She dedicates herself to consulting, mentoring and coaching individuals to teach and pursue their passions within the field of education. Kelley also dedicates time for collaboration with high school and college faculty, working with students to inspire entrepreneurial achievements and support innovation and creativity. She enjoys supporting others in their goal to do what she thought she could never do – become an author, designer and business owner.
Her company's mission is to help families create their own family traditions. From birthday celebrations and Tooth Fairy visits, to Easter, Halloween and Christmas festivities, Kelley has created magical stories and products that will engage, entertain and comfort children and parents alike. Her storybooks come in hard and soft cover versions, are colorfully illustrated, and include pages of age-appropriate games and activities. Magical products are available for each of the storybooks, including: birthday crowns, tie dye patterned pajamas, pocketed t-shirts and a special pillowcase for a loose tooth, Halloween inspired capes and wands, cuddly plush dolls, and more magical products to come. Her stories and products capture the imagination and inspire cherished family traditions.
Kelley offers her creations for sale on line and in gift stores and boutiques throughout the United States. She also sells at local holiday fairs, seasonal craft shows and schools in Massachusetts. She is available for book signings, readings and presentations.
