Michael Keith, Artist, is a lifelong woodworker starting as a child with a toy jigsaw in Father's shop. He took up golf as a hobby as an adult. When he retired from a career in business, began making putters and showing the putters at Trade and Art Shows such as One of a Kind in Chicago. Putters have been created from Arlington Ash tree wood devastated by the Emerald Ash Borer beetle and shown at the Arlington Gallery. Custom putters were also modeled after President Taft's personal putter for the opening of the Taft Museum.
Using the most interesting and beautiful woods from all over the world, plus other natural materials such as Mother of Pearl, Fossils and Gemstones, he creates gorgeous functional art in the form of golf putters. In addition, these putters are approved for play by the USGA (United States Golf Association).
