My name is Angela and I live in the Panhandle part of Florida.
As far back as I can remember, moments spent creating and crafting with my own hands have been the happiest moments in my life. My mother always had a knitting or crochet project on the go, and she taught me those skills before I was 10. As a teenager I channeled my excessive energy into other crafty ventures. As a young adult, I took several art classes to get a feel of what I liked most, prior to investing in expensive tools and materials. While raising a child and working full time in an office, my hands spent more time on a keyboard than on my beloved hobbies of sewing, stained glass, knitting, crochet, mosaics, and many others.
Finally came a time when I was able to stay home and indulge in my lifelong passion of creating things with my own hands. Every day is a new escape into whatever the mood takes me on that day. I am like water running wild after a dam broke. Sometimes, I get ideas in the middle of the night, I jot it down quickly, return to sleep (if I can), and I can't wait for morning to escape into my new venture...thus the name of my shop, Escape Moods.
I enjoy doing too many things to concentrate on just one “art” form. That's why you will find a variety of unique creations either in my FNO shop (for my whimsical dotted critters or pine needle baskets) or in my "FromMe2UCreations" shop on Etsy (for leather bracelets).
