I may or may not be going to colorfest out in Thurmont MD this year, it is all up in the air. I would dearly love to follow through with this, but I would be not part of the official judged group of vendors, I would be paying someone for use of their yard, about $200. I am not sure if I should do this or not. I will enter next year, for sure, but it would be nice to get a start and an in. I wonder though, would doing this possibly hurt my chances to enter officially next year? Will I have a good shot of making decent money, even my space fee back? I wonder if this will work out well or not, is it worth putting my all out for an unofficial spot at Colorfest?
Any input or advice on this situation?
