With These Hands By Audra, LLC was co-founded in 2009 by Audra T. Nobles, who happens to have Down syndrome is a Jewelry Designer who with the support of her loving and dedicated family, started her own business. She had experience working with her family consignment business and in another retail store during high school.
After high school, she enjoyed working and discovered her special talent with jewelry design with the encouragement and support of her Mother and Father, Lucinda and Duffy Nobles, Business Managers.
Audra designs and sells her unique jewelry creations using quality semi-precious stones, beads and globally inspired jewelry elements based on her vision of beauty and entrepreneurship by people who are differently-abled. She and family business team participates in their #LawSyndrome supports the work of the National Down Syndrome Society #LawSyndrome, ADDCAC of PG County, MD, The Arcs of PG County and Maryland, Maryland Career Development Association (MDCA).
Over the years, her budding talent and growth of her business attracted customers through her jewelry creations. They were happy to see how her designs reflect their style and taste. Her hand-made, unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry designs are created with the same high quality products found in popular trendy discount fashion stores. When she is in the marketplace, her customers, family and sponsors are inspired and continue to appreciate the value and talent that she and her peers bring to the marketplace.
Audra enjoys traveling nationally and internationally with her family to sell her jewelry designs at conferences, fundraisers, craft and art fairs, festivals and conventions. During these travels, she has purchased quality semi-precious beads and stones from trusted jewelry wholesalers in New Mexico, Arizona, Vermont, California, North Carolina, and local bead retailers in the Washington-Metropolitan area.
Going forward in 2019, Audra wants to continue to expand her business and customer base, establish business relationships with companies to sell her jewelry nationally based on their understanding of her unique, hand-made line. Most importantly, Audra and her business team want to encourage potential and current differently-abled self-advocate entrepreneurs and their families to learn how to use their talents to start and maintain their own business for financial independence.
