I grew up in Budapest,Hungary during communism where if you wanted to wear something nice, you had to make it yourself.That taught me early on to be creative and i have been knitting, crocheting and sewing all my life.
During COVID I was looking for something to do and decided to learn how to felt. I always liked wool as a medium and since the course I registered for was cancelled, I went on line, and learned it myself. Pretty soon I had lots of felt balls and came the idea to string them to be necklaces. All of my friends wanted one. That is how this small business, FELTFABULOUS was born, and it has been evolving ever since.
Making the pieces is very meditative and makes me very happy. I hope they transcend the joy it gives me, and makes people feel special wearing them.
