Fiber Distinctions, Franklin, NC

I am a fiber artist living in the mountains of North Carolina.  I find that my surroundings are very inspirational to me when designing one-of-a-kind items using my favorite media of all types of fibers. I started by company, Fiber Distinctions, as a way to express my feelings and creativity through the use of all types of fibers.  Through Fiber Distinctions I am able to share my love of fibers with others and provide them with a creative and unique product line.  I enjoy creating stylist, artsy, whimsical high quality fashion items, home accessories, art yarns and fiber batts using wool, mohair, alpaca, angora and silk fibers. 

I have been spinning, weaving, felting and knitting for over 18 years with my initial fascination beginning while living in remote Maine.  I find myself loving to work with vibrant colors and materials resulting in luxurious textures throughout my creations.  I often use beads, sparkles and feathers as accent pieces.  The future is always unknown but I will always let my creativity run free!
