Fort Gaines 200 is a collaborative effort between Fort Gaines, Georgia and it's neighbors to bring additional tourism and economic development to our region. We are anchoring a concerted effort around the 200th year anniversary of the 1816 military fort built on the bluff of the Chattahoochee River in Fort Gaines.
Fort Gaines 200 and the Georgia BBQ Association are proud to host the 1st Annual White Oak Pastures BBQ Challenge Memorial Weekend, May 22 & 23 in Fort Gaines, GA. Join us as we welcome the best of the GBA Pitmasters as they race to the finals of their 2014-2015 season. Witness for yourself who'll be crowned the Grand Champion of Fort Gaines. Food, art & craft vendors, live jazz and blues, and of course the finest BBQ in the Southeast.
