Oakland bred-Las Vegas hip hop artist G. Battles was created by the West Coast. Born in San Diego and grown in the Bay Area. The struggles and experiences he endured during his youth birthed his brand and mantra; Blak Hart. Its a reflection of the times and state of mind of his community.
G. Battles encompasses a West Coast sound influenced by the Bay Area that at the same time is diverse enough to appeal to a wide demographic of listeners. His music has been featured on the Bay Area radio station 106.1 KMEL and Las Vegas 88.1 KCEP. His music has been licensed to the Showtime network television show Shameless and most recently TV series The Good Fight and Pitch.
G. Battles has toured opening with Rappin' 4-Tay and collaborated with Rick Ross, Spice 1, BG Knocc Out, Layzie Bone of (Bone Thugs-n-Harmony) and Twista.
Battles most recently performed at the 626 Night Market food festival at the Rio Hotel and Casino in September of 2024 and has a new album titled "Game" that will be releasing February 28, 2025.
