Gail Manizak, a resident Artist of Sacramento, she is best know for her realism, her scenes of what she calls the "Beauty fo Gods Creation". are Landscapes of all types; ie; waterfalls, lakes, rivers, ponds, mountains, trees, seascapes, misc. She uses many different styles, from ovals to rectangles, to wood grain back grounds. The Study of Art was inspired by her Father, who at the age of 20 gave her a wooden box with paints brushes and all that she needed to start, and asked her, If I give this to you will you use it?". And she said "yes", not knowing anything about she was inspired by her Dads love for art. Starting at age 20 yrs old she had to give it up to reaise her family. For the past three years, she is retired and has taken up her love for Art once again.
She is an Aspiring Artist, creating on a regular bases her love of "Gods Beautiful Creation fo the Earth". She has studied diligently the wet-on-wet oil painting technique taught by Bob Ross, he has now passed on. She started with his teaching in the begiing and she went back to his teaching when she took up the gift again.
