"In The Attic" is a family-run business established in 1995
Our family business developed as an effort to combine our many loves and to share it with others, helping people to learn about 'the art of antiques', and their provenance, as well as the benefits of tea, bicycling and train travel, in a fun relaxing amosphere.
Hence “The Attic” was born in December of 1995, to remind us to slow down and remember the past, take a moment to enjoy a cup of tea as we meander our Garden Dwellings' watching our miniature garden railroad display, or perhaps take a tandem ride in the countryside.

In The Attic, Inc. is a real brick and mortar retail store since 1995.
We are open 7-Days a week at our Volo IL location, which is always fully staffed, the Mall's normal business hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (central time) But, if you would like either Kim or Bill to serve you and/or be on the premises when you visit, please call ahead. The Attic: is one of the anchor storefronts inside the Volo Mercantile Mall #1295 - #1299 at the Volo Auto Museum and Volo-4-Malls compound which is made up of six showrooms with 300 collectible and Hollywood cars; three large antique malls with 350 dealers displaying their unique finds. The Mercantile Mall also houses a broad array of antiques, collectibles, gifts and home goods.
Open 7 days a week from 10 to 5, except: Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
