Born in Pittsburgh , PA, Gene grewup listening to the Beatles, Beach Boys, Elvis, the Stones etc. "Once I saw the Beatles on TV I knew what I wanted to do in life"
Gene's introduction to music started when his mom bought him a trumpet as a child. From there Gene gravitated to the drums where he would spend may years holding down the groove for a number of bands. It was there that Gene started singing lead while playing the drums and he eventually found himself out front as the lead singer.
