Georgetown Art Show, Georgetown, DE
Chardon Jewelry, The Upper Crust and Rosalie Walls will present the Historic Georgetown Inaugural Art Crawl from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, in conjunction with the Farmer and Foodie Festival sponsored by The Brick Hotel on The Circle.
Area artists are encouraged to request an application by email to georgetownartshow@yahoo.com; selection of artist vendors will be prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications must be received by Sunday, Aug. 11, in order for artists to participate. Applications can also be obtained at Georgetown’s Chardon Jewelry and The Upper Crust. Exhibitors' handcrafted artwork will be displayed at various businesses and organizations throughout Georgetown with the emphasis on the downtown and The Circle. This year, there are at least 70 available spots for exhibitors/vendors. Mutlimedia items such as pottery, paintings, leather, sculpture, jewelry, metal, wood, glass and fiber are being sought.
Informational booths have been reserved for the Millsboro Art League, Mispillion Art League, Milton Art Guild and Nanticoke River Arts. Organizers are anticipating an annual art festival that will eventually profit the arts community and nonprofits.
