One afternoon, my nephews and I were talking about stained glass and brainstorming names for my hobby which has evolved into a very small business. Thanks R & G for the name: GLASS-A-PORIUM!
In 2009, a friend gave me the supplies and equipment that he had purchased for a class to learn how to make stained glass panels. As he was cleaning and organizing his garage, he gave me the materials he purchased for the glass - glass, solder, chemicals, equipment and other items.
With this generous gift, I then took a class and learned the basics of creating stained glass pieces. I fell in love with the medium. For me, it is the perfect balance of color and types of glass with designing and building skills. After a year or two, I began participating in juried arts events and selling my creations. I am in the process of creating a website as well as a Facebook page.
I look forward to creating stained glass pieces just for you.
