Glassy Lady Designs is my company and I create numerous fused glass items in glass kilns, including creative cabochons made with layered glass, various bowls and dishes fused in molds, specialty items such as window hangings and pieces to be displayed on eisels, plus unique earrings made from purchased beads found around the country and ornamentalized with various end caps and add-ons. I started by taking a class on glass-fusing and that's all it took! I was hooked on glass & fascinated by what could be created in glass kilns. I now have 6 kilns and try to make at least one piece a day (even in the morning before work!) I find this very relaxing & rewarding, as no piece turns out the same & I love the reaction I get from people who see my work. I am just going into my second year of being an official company and some of my work is on consignment in various stores & shoppes. I love attending art shows because of all the wonderful people I meet & then network with. I am vendored & always looking for new art show/festival locations.
