Gold Canyon Candles started in 1997 by a mom in her home wanting to stay home with her children. Karen Waiseth could not find a long lasting fragrant candle so she started to experiment to find "The World's Finest". Gold Canyon was the first to have the two wick candles and strongest fragrance until the end. Fresh Orange was the first scent, now one of many. In 2000 Gold Canyon started the Prayer Child Foundation, (prayerchild.org) which 100% of the sale of Candles For Kids goes to the foundation to help children with health issues, to fuel to get to their appointments, medication, travel expenses and more.
