A little about me. I am fourth generation antique lover and crafter! My great-granpa loved antiquing, which led he and my nanny to opening their own antique store. He would travel around NC gathering and selling antiques. After he passed, my Nanny ran the store. My granma has been setting up at flea markets every weekend for fifty years. To this day it is what she loves, and I see where i get the passion. A lot of my canning recipes come from these two women. Whose history wasnt to make these to sell, but to feed a family of 8, and have it stored for hard times. Times have changed, the way the population lives has changed to unrecognizeable desires. Which has put me on a quest to give my family what they need, not want. We are in transition still to the simple life. All natural products, homemade, few ingredients, no harmful chemicals. My husband and I are striving to live the life our grandparents grew up living. With this said, i put so much love and respect into every product or piece i create. Every recipe i use, thats been passed down for centuries, is giving hope to my families future. I love homemade beauty products, jams and jellies, pickles and vegetables, and anything that brings us to a simpler life.
