Hello my name is Heather Schramm and my journey in metalsmithing began while I was working on my bachelor's degree at Coastal Carolina University. After graduating, I started working at a small silver studio located in Glen Echo Park outside of Washington D.C. During my time there, I held many titles including resident artist, studio monitor, and instructor.
Fast forward to 2020, I resigned from my position at the studio due to the COVID Pandemic. I realized that I needed to concentrate on building my own studio space so that I could continue working. Today, I work out of my home studio.
