I’m EME. I always wanted a business of my own, to be independent and creative. As a birthday present to myself in August 2012, I went to the County Clerk’s office and Hand Made by EME was born. I knew in my mind what I wanted to do, but I didn’t do anything until this year, 2014. Because nuts don’t fall far from the tree, I asked my kids to partner with me to make this a reality. LOU is my beautiful daughter. She makes this EME LOU team. Her name is not Lou, I call her Lou for no apparent reason and now her husband calls her Lou too. She is creative in her own right and works hard to keep me in line. DEV is my oldest, gorgeous granddaughter. She handles the camera work through her own company, Adventure Time Studios. She’s also been known to string a bead or two when the creative itch hits. KOTA is my youngest, gorgeous granddaughter. She creates the more popular items for the younger crowd and keeps us all moving forward with a smile. Our intent is to be unique and create items within the collections that will blend together over time.
