Heartwood cedar has been hand building furniture since we bought a sawmill in 2007. We started using most of the cedar that was killed in the drought on our property in Giddings, Texas. Eastern Red cedar is a beautiful color when finished, usually with a hand mixed teake oil. This gives it a durable mat finish that lasts for years. David is always experimenting with styles of furniture ranging from rustic to modern with either metal bases or wooden. The metal is welded and finished with a rustic look. We include mostly smaller carry away items in our booth but we are available for custom orders.
