Herberts' Wine Jelly, Palmyra, VA
Herbert's Wine and Beer Jellies began in August 2016 and are currently sold through craft shows and email but soon to be on-line as well. The owners have a vast array of cooking backgrounds with licenses and certifications to document the experiences.
The jellies begin with a wine or beer and through the processing are made non-alcoholic. (below a .5% level). A variety of flavors are available and are sold on line in sets of 4- 6oz jars (the Sampler), or 6- 6 oz jars (select favorite flavor). Also available are jellies that begin with non-alcoholic wines and beer to ensure an even lower % of alcohol.
The jellies are wonderful in flavor and add the special touch to an appetizer, side dish, main dish or dessert.
