Made in the hollows of eastern Kentucky, we offer lathe-turned wooden bowls, cutting and charcuterie boards, shelves and seasonal items. We primarily use locally grown wood such as cherry, poplar, oak, walnut, and pine. Each creation is unique! Artist and craftsman Doug Niece is a carpenter at heart and by trade, and uses his attention to detail to develop the beauty in each piece he creates. Renee Tabor covers marketing and sales for HollowWood, and supports the growing business by keeping Doug fed and up to date on orders. Doug and Renee are both life-long residents of Appalachia and feel that their woodcraft items honor their heritage and the region. They share their home near Jackson, KY with their German Shepherd, Neah K'oo, and their cat, Vex.
