The company's founder, Barbara LoMonaco, holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in cultural anthropology. Her travels and research in other cultures have inspired her interest natural skin care and holistic health.
When she is not dreaming up skin care products in her home lab, she is spending time with her barnyard: three goats, a horse, two dogs, and three cats. Her small farm is located in Tiverton, Rhode Island.
