I have just begun to independantly make and a sell a beautiful type of artwork that is treasured by kids , teens and parents alike! It's called Name Art Paintings. Back in 2006 I worked for an art company in Las Vegas who trained me how to do this beautiful type of artwork. I am now independantly able to sell my own artwork.
My name art features many animate symbols that have been commonly found in the ancient oriental paintings. The modern interpretations of those ancient symbols decorate one of the most detailed name art in the world.
The beauty of nature was expressed in a simplified design in an ancient oriental art. The same principal carries on in my name art. It's all talent, and not printed out by a computer. Name painting is an art form that originated in China. There, this kind of folk art dates back more than 2,000 years. Traditionally, Name Painting was used to represent the Chinese characters in a person's name when a gift was needed for special events. Name Painting has advanced since then.
Have your own name, or a friend's, or family member's name beautifully displayed in a unique special way. These are great for gifts especially around the holidays. You may also substitute a name with a special word such as LOVE, FAITH, HOPE, BELIEVE, DREAMS, WELCOME, ALOHA or anything you wish.
The paper is approximately 8"x24" and is 96 pound quality paper. I do not provide framing or matting at this time but you can take your personalized name art to Michael's Arts and Crafts, JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts, and Ikea for custom framing.
I paint the following into letters: Bamboo, Birds, Butterflies, Dolphins, Dragons, Fish, Flowers, Lighthouses, Mountains, Orca Whales, Palm Trees, Panda Bears, Rainbows, Seahorses, Ships, and Sunsets. I will pick randomly pick which characters to use, unless you specify a certain character listed above that you would like to be incorporated into your painting.
