Hugs + Mugs, Hoffman Estates, IL
We are part of a non-profit organization called GiGi's playhouse. GiGi's playhouse is an achievement center for children and adults with a Down syndrome. All of our programs are FREE to all families. We do not depend on the state for funding- we are completely donation based. Hugs + Mugs is a coffee and gelato shop ran by adults with Down syndrome. The adults complete an 18 week internship at Hugs + Mugs. Once it is complete we work to find them placement out in the community.
