Ignition Studios & Gallery, Vashon, WA
Ignition Studios & Gallery is located in central Vashon Island in a 1939 auto garage. The Studios are work space for six resident artists and the adjoining Gallery is exhibition space for monthly visiting artists from Vashon and surrounding areas. Owner, Lisa Hurst, has developed Ignition as a space for the production and display of fine arts, as an arts teaching space with classes in painting, sculpture, collage, assemblage, and various crafts; and, Ignition has become a notable community gatherin place during Vashon's monthly First Friday Gallery Cruise.
