Cement and resin are used to cast useful home decor items such as candleholders, plant pots, trinket dishes, and serving trays that are one of a kind. After casting, artworks are painted with acrylic paint utilizing dotting techniques to create mandalas and other intricate patterns as decoration. I paint these patterns on canvas as well. To protect artworks, I seal them in epoxy art resin to protect from scratching and allow for durability during use. Accents of mica powder, glitter, dried flowers, beads and other objects new and repurposed are used.
