Island Girls Gear is a true inspiration from my love of my beautiful islands of the Bahamas where I was born and raised until moving to Florida at the age of 40.
I am a Bahamian Artist and Fashion designer living in Florida. I decided to combine a few of my favorite things; painting, fashion and Fabrics! My art work is transferred onto fabric creating bold vibrant prints to create beautiful effortless casualwear and trendy bags. I source all of the plaited straw used on my handmade bags from Artistans back home in The Bahamas, making it authentic.
Island Girls Gear officially launched in June 2020. Yes! During the pandemic I jumped in, growing daily and giving homage to sun, sand and style.
