IT'S NOT JUST BLACK AND WHITE
...years ago, after having an IQ test administered to me, my mother was told that I was quite intelligent but had no idea where in the world I was, no sense of direction, space, depth, etc... Very true but also very lucky as I later became a learning specialist. The pen and ink work I do comes from my own, rather unique perceptions of the world around me. Within each piece there exists emotion, imagination and theme and these concepts are not dependent on the use of color. I think that individual people will each sense something different, something unique to their own life experience...at least I hope so.
