I have been working with wood for about 20 years. I give lessons at my location, and have no more than 2 people at a time. These classes last from 10am to 5pm and you will make several items(ex. bowl, honey dipper, pen, or a goblet).
I also go into schools and teach the children how to work a lathe and they will be making an item also out of wood. I have small lathes that I take into the schools and also have 2 to 3 guys that go with me. I do not charge for this service, but will accept a donation so I can keep doing this in the schools.
I have a gallery and studio in my shop that is behind my home. I also go to craft festivals and shows to show and sell my art items.
I am retired 27 1/2 yrs from the Air Force.
This is a relaxing hobby that I love to do.
