A graduate of the University of Wisconsin in art, I went on to study costume design for the stage, but did not complete the third year of my MFA. In the mid 80's I completely abandoned any attempt to draw or paint and did not resume my work until 2009 at the urging of family and friends.
Terrified of watercolor, I enrolled in classes with Peg Ginsberg of Mt. Horeb, WI and learned to love the medium. My work is eclectic: horses, cows, seascapes, boats, dogs, octopi, shrimp, herons, pelicans, etc. I am currently living in Beaufort, NC, on a 36 ft. boat with my husband, dogs, and cat.
